About me
Hi, I’m Ryan Bishop. Welcome to the more personal side of the corner.
I’m a totally blind technologist based in Texas. Professionally I work in the Salesforce world with a focus on accessibility, but the thread running through everything I do is simple. I like building things that work, and I especially like building things that work for the people the rest of the tech world tends to forget.
A lot of that shows up in the audio-gaming and blind communities. Over the years I’ve built and maintained game soundpacks, run RSGames (a multiplayer game platform with thousands of players), kept a TeamTalk voice server going for hangouts and watch parties, and set up a 24/7 internet radio station. I also tinker with servers and small coding projects, some of which live on GitHub.
When I’m not building something, I’m usually playing something, listening to music, or hanging out with friends online.
