Welcome to the Ryanscorner TeamTalk FAQ page.

What is TeamTalk?

TeamTalk is a voice conferencing system, used by hundreds of people around the world. Basically, it is a 2-part service. The server, which runs somewhere, like on this website, and the client, which you download on your phone, or PC.

So why is this relevant?

I run a localized TeamTalk server, which sometimes streams random things. Movies, Online webinars, TV shows. We also use it for general conversations, hangouts, and other various stuff.

How do I get TeamTalk

Well, that ultimately depends on what device you own. I will list the most common ways below.

Mobile devices

iPhone

TeamTalk has an App for the iPhone, It can be found by searching TeamTalk5 on the appstore, or, if you're on your phone right now, you can just click

See below for configuration instructions

android

You can get the android client by searching TeamTalk in the google play store, or if you are on your phone now, you can click:

PC

The PC version has many many variations, depending on what you are using. As they are sometimes generally updated, I probably won't list specific download links. The main download link for all versions can be found

Note: if you are using the windows client, and are using a screenReader, ensure you pick Classic client for accessibility while installing

Accounts & channels

I am not opposed to creating private channels or accounts for people. If you wish to have a channel or account just: contact me via email and send me specific information such as: accounts:
  1. Your username
  2. Your password
  3. a good email to reach you at
and for channels:
  1. your channel name
  2. where on the TeamTalk server you'd like your channel to go, or if you'd like your own branch on the tree.
  3. any sub channels you may want. Note: i'd need different channel names and passwords for all sub channels.
  4. Your TeamTalk userAccount username.
  5. what you intend to use your channel/channels for, or specific bitrates you want your channels to be at.

If no bitrate is selected, your channels will be created at default: 44.1 KHZ Opus Stereo.

More questions or trouble

If you are having trouble connecting to the server, or wish to have a channel, please: contact me Via email or social media and I will try to help. Note: I probably won't do general support for other servers, or things like that. If you are connecting to my server and are having trouble with your audio or can't connect, can't install TeamTalk, then please feel free to contact.

Thanks and hope to see you on the server soon!
